Minergate Account

First, you need to access the MINERGATE WEBSITE and create an account.

LINUX COMMANDS

Use the following comands to install the required packages: 

# apt-get update
# apt-get install libcurl4-openssl-dev git
# apt-get install  build-essential
# apt-get install autotools-dev autoconf
# apt-get install libcurl3 libcurl4-gnutls-dev


Create a directory and download the bitcoin miner:

# mkdir /downloads
# cd /downloads
# git clone https://github.com/pooler/cpuminer
# cd cpuminer

 

Compile and install the cpuminer program:

# ./autogen.sh
# CFLAGS="-march=native" ./configure
# make
# make install

 

Start mining bitcoin using the command below as an example:

# minerd -o stratum+tcp://btc.pool.minergate.com:3335 -u This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. -p x


Important: You need to change the username This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. from the command above to the account that you created on the MINERGATE WEBSITE.
